Ustara is a platform that connects clients in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with independent barbers, letting clients discover barbers, book appointments, and manage those bookings. Ustara does not employ barbers and is not itself a barbershop — barbers are independent professionals who use Ustara to find and manage clients.
You need an account to book appointments (as a client) or to offer services (as a barber). You must provide accurate information — name, phone number, and, for barbers, business details like district, working hours, and pricing. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Ustara is intended for users old enough to enter into this kind of agreement under Uzbekistan law. If a booking is for a minor (for example, a kids' haircut), the booking must be made by a parent or guardian's own account, not the minor's.
Ustara does not process payments between clients and barbers. Clients pay barbers directly, using whatever method the barber accepts (cash or otherwise arranged in person) — Ustara has no role in that transaction and is not responsible for disputes over payment between a client and a barber.
Separately, barbers who complete bookings through Ustara owe Ustara a platform fee of 1,000 UZS plus 3% of the service price for each completed booking. This fee is between the barber and Ustara — it is not charged to clients, and clients never pay Ustara directly.
Clients may cancel a booking before its scheduled time. Barbers are notified when this happens. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect a client's ability to book with a barber in the future, at that barber's discretion.
You may upload photos — a profile photo, portfolio photos (barbers), or reference/style/after-cut photos (clients). By uploading a photo, you confirm it's yours to share and you give Ustara permission to display it on the platform for the purpose the feature was intended for (for example, a barber's portfolio photo may be shown publicly on their profile; a client's reference photo is shown only to the barber they're booking with).
Reviews you leave are public and tied to a specific completed booking. Ustara may remove reviews or other content that is abusive, fraudulent, or violates these terms.
Ustara connects clients and barbers — we don't control the quality of any haircut or service a barber provides, and we're not a party to the actual haircut appointment. We do our best to keep the platform working reliably but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, or misuses the platform (including fake reviews, harassment, or repeated no-shows that harm other users' experience).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
